Horticulture, Landscaping & Floristry

Horticulture isn't just about gardening, those with a qualification in horticulture could be designing and landscaping parks, gardens and sports grounds or developing land for large businesses such as hotels and golf clubs. You could also work in production; growing and selling plants, producing brand new hybrid varieties and finding out how best to care for and grow plants for decoration and for eating. Students undertaking the full time horticulture courses will also have the opportunity to take part in educational visits, such as to Kew Gardens, RHS Wisley, Stourhead Gardens and a study tour to Holland. We also offer one day floristry courses for those who want to explore their creative side and create beautiful centrepieces for their home.
