About this course
This course is designed for Plumbers holding a City & Guilds Basic Craft or NVQ Level 2 qualification who would like to become accredited to install Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems (UHWSS and primary or secondary store).
What will I learn?

The course will certificate installers to the requirements of G3 and L1 of the building regulations.

You will learn about the installation, commissioning, fault finding and servicing of unvented hot water storage systems.

Entry requirements

You should already hold a City & Guilds Basic Craft or NVQ Level 2 qualification.

Study, assessment and qualifications

The training and assessment will take 1-day to complete. A practical and theory test will be undertaken, where you must achieve an 85% pass mark.

You will be required to provide 2 passport sized photographs and your national insurance number.

Tools, British Standards, Building Regulations, Manufacturers and more will be provided.

There will be certain aspects of the course that will require study prior to attending th course. A study pack will be sent to you approximately 14 days before the start of the course.

An interview is required for this course.

What could I do next?
You could progress onto further training, such as the BPEC competancy certificate, which will last for 5 years.
