About this course

This nationally recognised qualification designed for those with management responsibilities who require additional training in the use of key management tools and processes. It is also suitable for experienced or practising team leaders seeking career progression to the next level of management.

This is blended learning programme, consisting of 22 units with 13 online units and 9 open workshop units; with the aim to complete within ten months of your start date.

The open workshops are face-to-face, interactive and practical sessions, with hardcopies of workbooks and handouts. The online learning platform, is designed for easy use and can be logged onto anytime and on any devices, providing you have internet access.

During the course, you will learn a range of key management skills and put them into practice in your own role.

The unit’s assessments are via a series of questions designed to test your knowledge and understanding of the unit. Your Assessor will mark these and feedback back to you as you progress through each unit until completion.

There are no formal entry requirements; however, our administrator is happy to pass on your information to our Programme Lead who can discuss the suitability of the course with you.

Study, assessment and qualifications

Assessment is via questions at the end of each unit to embed knowledge and understanding. The assessor will mark these and feedback to you. Once all units have been acheived you will gain the Diploma.

This qualification comes with 1 year’s free ILM studying membership, giving access to additional learning resources.

Apprenticeships and Adult Education Funded Courses
The College’s Adult funded courses and apprenticeships prior to 1st May 2017 and apprenticeships with non-levy paying employers post 1st May 2017, are funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and part financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund (ESF).
