About this course
This course is for students who have completed 50 hours of Spanish study (eg a Beginners course followed by the first half of our Intermediate course). They should be able to cope with everyday situations in Spanish and have an awareness of basic grammar.
What will I learn?

The aim of the course is to expand students’ manipulation of the language to enable them to give descriptive accounts of past, present and future events.

On completion, you should be able to: 

  • Give descriptive accounts of holiday experiences 
  • Talk about future plans and wishes 
  • Discuss topics such as television, music, the environment
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however students are expected to have completed previous study and should be able to converse confidently using basic Spanish.

There are no formal assessments or qualifications associated with this course.
 
Additional costs and information
You should bring with you writing materials to take notes and a Collins English/Spanish dictionary with a section on grammar.
What could I do next?

Students with an interest in languages could progress onto study on our Spanish - Advanced course. You may wish to learn another language and Wiltshire College offers courses in French, German, Italian and Russian.
