About this course
This course is perfect for students who have already completed our Spanish - Beginners course or who have a grounding in basic Spanish and would like to progress and further develop your confidence, skills and knowledge!
What will I learn?

Consolidate and extend students' knowledge of the vocabulary and expressions needed to deal with everyday situations in a Spanish-speaking country. Students will be encouraged to practise these expressions in class and to reinforce their learning by doing written exercises at home.

Grammar exercises will also be introduced as the need arises. Students will practise the four language skills of reading, listening, speaking and some writing.

Topics will include:

  • Eating at restaurants
  • Using public transport
  • Booking accommodation
  • Weather
  • Talking about what you did on holiday
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements associated with this course, however you should have a basic understanding of the Spanish language, perhaps having completed our Spanish - Beginners course.
Study, assessment and qualifications

It is recommended that a little homework each week will help you to progress with your language learning.

Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor.

There are no final qualifications associated with this course.
