As this qualification includes the Award and Certificate units, it will cover the knowledge and understanding from the National Occupational Standards and will require the learner to demonstrate the full application of this knowledge and understanding over a period of time in the workplace.

Certificate: learners will need to complete the first 9 units from the list of mandatory units
Diploma: learners will need to complete all of the mandatory units, as well as a further 19 credits from a range of optional units, covering such areas as budgets, travel, recruiting staff, marketing, and inclusive play

All units are internally assessed. Assessment enables the learner’s workplace practice to provide evidence for individual units as well as the whole qualification.
This is a "roll-on, roll-off" qualification so, provided you fit the required work based criteria you can join at any time.
