This course is aimed at individuals who are employed in the Industrial Sciences sector and working in either a scientific or technical role. As this is a Level 3 course, the individual will need to have more responsibilty than say an individual working at Level 3. They should be organising or leading others, or carrying out work of a complex nature
Although a learner might already have some prior skills from working in the sector, the course will confirm these skills and also serve to challenge and stretch the individual where there are gaps in their knowlege or practical skills.
Learners are required to be in full-time employment in the Industrial Science sector and working in a role that has sufficient and appropriate responsiblilties and complexity of work.
The course is delivered at the learners place of work, with the College Assessor visiting every 6-8 weeks.
During each Assessor visit, actions are agreed, and if responded to, will create and thereafter build a portfolio of diverse evidence that proves the learners understanding of theory and ability to apply these through complex practical activities.
Apart from the course fees, there is no additional cost
