About this course

This course is aimed at those who already hold a Level 2 qualification in Business Improvement Techniques, or those that work in a role that requires them to make savings in efficiencies or improvement in quality.

  •  Analysing assembly techniques to optimise the process, improving quality, cost and delivery
What will I learn?

Although this course will confirm the learners' current understanding of Business Improvement Techniques concepts, it will also challenge and stretch the learner where there are gaps in their knowlege. After aquiring this missing theory, learners will then need to prove that they can apply this by leading on efficiency or quality improvement at their place of work

Entry requirements

Applicants must be in full time employment and working in a role with the appropriate level of authority to carry out Business Improvement Techniques research and application projects.

Study, assessment and qualifications

The course will be delivered at the learners place of work, with the College Assessor visitig every 6-8 weeks.

After a period of consultation during which suitable projects will be identified, the Assessor will then work with you to create and therefter continue to build a portfolio of diverse evidence that proves your understanding of the theory and application through a number of projects lead by the learner.

Additional costs and information
