During this course we aim to set and meet individual SMART targets, with the purpose of improving your skills for work.
We will practise your literacy and numeracy skills. We will also brush up on your computer skills and design a CV and a portfolio. There will be opportunities to try some voluntary work with our charity partners. Improving our communication and social skills will also be a main focus of this course, with each learner practising their interview skills.

If the learner requires 1-to-1 support this will need to be organised externally.
Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor.
